The Sponges – Funked Up (Original Mix)
With just a handful of tracks to their name, The Sponges have already picked up support from Chris Lake, AC Slater, Destructo, Justin Martin, and Walker & Royce. Up next for the Miami based duo is a deep, groovy, and funky house tune fittingly titled “Funked Up”. Nik Eaton and Ryan Slepin throw down some disco vibes and chopped up vocals in the undoubtedly infectious song. The track was released on Box Of Cats, which is run by a collective of Wongo, Jeff Doubleu, Jak Z, Kyle Watson, Tom EQ, and Marc Spence.
Last week, the guys played a special guest mix on Box Of Cats Radio Episode 7 where they dropped their upbeat track. Early supporters of the song include CID, Dannic, and Kyle Watson.
