Coming together for an impassioned and emotionally driven tune are Jack Trades and Kayrae with “Sideways”. The melodic tune with the breezy vocals of Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Amanda Kayrae was released on Toronto based record label Physical Presents. Canadian artist Addy Hn has previously released his songs on labels such as Blackhole Recordings, Armada, and Thrive Music.
Jack Trades says that “Sideways to me is a very special song because Kayrae and I wanted to write something real and relatable in relationships. We all deserve to be happy, and it is important to recognize that and how we should truly learn to let go, if required. The lyrics of the song truly touches on what one is really going through inside but having a hard time expressing it.”
Kayrae states “This song comes to me from personal experience where I have been in a bad relationship, stuck, not knowing where to go and hoping that one day it will all work out. It was easy during the writing process because everything just flowed and came very naturally.”
