Chris Lake & Solardo – Free Your Body (Original Mix)
When two of the biggest names in house music team up, chances are the resulting track is going to be a big one, to say the least. “Free Your Body” is the outcome of a collaboration between noted DJs and producers in Chris Lake and Solardo, released on Lake’s imprint Black Book Records. The guys have each been known to make an infectious tune or two in their solo efforts, but now combine their talents for a track with a relentless groove and tech house beats.
Lake, a native of London who is now based in Los Angeles, has played the song at EDC Mexico, Coachella in Indio, Spring Awakening Music Festival in Chicago, Escape: Psycho Circus, and EDC Orlando.
Solardo, made up of Mark Richards and James Elliot of Manchester, have their own label in Sola which has been on a roll the past month. Their imprint has released Dillon Nathaniel’s “Do It Again” EP and Paolo Martini and Federico Ambrosi’s “Gravity” EP in the past few weeks.
Malaa, Tiesto, Kryder, Benny Benassi, Oliver Heldens, W&W, Martin Garrix, Wax Motif, EDX, Pete Tong, Gregor Salto, Diplo, Cash Cash, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, CID, Alison Wonderland, Jauz, Valentino Khan, Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera, BIJOU, Thomas Gold, Golf Clap, and The Aston Shuffle have all played the song.
