MANT – Dance On It EP
In late August, Diplo launched a house music record label called Higher Ground, named after his EP of the same name that was put out in May.The fourth release on the label comes from London based MANT in a two track EP titled “Dance On It”. Also featuring “Gameshow”, the tunes use acid vibes with crisp percussion to wrap it all together.
Diplo says that “House is where it all came from. Everything we know and love as dance music today started with the masters in Chicago and Detroit almost forty years ago. The genre has always been incredibly important to me, and Higher Ground is our homage to the legends and opportunity to champion new sounds and artists from around the world pushing the genre forward.”
Other tracks from MANT have been put out on respected labels such as Cr2 Records, MTA Records, Toolroom Records, Sola, and Solotoko. Since starting the group, the guys have already collaborated with Solardo, Eli Brown, Sonny Fodera, and Biscits.
The list of DJs who have supported previous MANT songs is quite extensive, containing the likes of Tiesto, Pete Tong, Claude VonStroke, Idris Elba, Kryder, Annie Mac, EDX, Claptone, Danny Howard, Mark Knight, Erick Morillo, Gorgon City, Robbie Rivera, Ferreck Dawn, Roger Sanchez, Mark Brown, Wax Motif, Dillon Nathaniel, Prok & Fitch, and more.
