BOT & VNSSA – What I Want (Original Mix)
In September 2018, BOT and VNSSA released a two track EP containing “Creatures” and “Everybody” on Treasure Fingers’ record label Psycho Disco!. The two first met in 2017 at a This Ain’t Bristol Party in Los Angeles where they struck up a friendship. Now, the two Los Angeles based artists come together again for a techno and house infusion song called “What I Want” for their debut on Gorgon City’s imprint REALM.
Italian DJ and producer Andrea Fratangelo has been on my radar for a number of years, with his record label Main Course putting out some top notch tunes. “Bare Foot” and “Ben Hur” with David Heartbreak are two of the earliest songs I’ve heard from him that I still bust out from time to time. The label just put out their 17 track “2019 Main Course Holiday Pack” as a free download, featuring tunes form Astronomar, Garneau, Tony Quattro, manolo., and others. BOT will be playing alongside Walker & Royce this Friday December 27 at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles.
Newport Beach native Vanessa Barnes got her start in 2018 and has since released quality tracks on respected labels such as Dirtybird, Country Club Disco, Box Of Cats, and Dim Mak. Coachella, Dirtybird Campout, Lightning in a Bottle, EDC (Las Vegas, Orlando, and Mexico), and HARD Summer are a few of the major festivals she’s played at. Last month, she released “The Magic” EP with Ocean Roulette on Holy Molé Music. VNSSA will be playing at Insomniac’s Countdown NYE 2019 on Tuesday December 31 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino.
