On February 11, 2020 by ocedm

David Starfire, Bósa, and AHEE have all teamed up for a bass and percussion filled tune called “Walking In The Stars”. The trio of Los Angeles based artists released the track from Austin based imprint Gravitas Recordings. Captivating tribal rhythms and ethereal melodies are used throughout the dazzling and mesmerizing tune.

Starfire has played at major music festivals such as Winter Music Conference, Coachella, Outside Lands, Burning Man, Eclipse, and Lightning in a Bottle. Bosa’s Stephan Jacobs and Sunev Lovechild released their music video to “Behemoth” near the end of last year, and also just put out “Batu Mon” with SAAND. AHEE released his “Spellbound” EP last October, which Chris Adams also put out on Gravitas Recordings.

“Long ago, the Ancient Aztecs observed the stars through pond reflections. “Walking In The Stars,” out today via Gravitas Recordings, is the celestial creation of Bósa, David Starfire, and AHEE that pays homage and serves as a connection to the ancient construct. Each of these Los Angeles artists bring something unique to the table, creating a collaboration that infuses various genres of EDM into one harmonious banger. Bósa is known for creating music just beyond the confines of house, David Starfire is known for being a pioneer of the global bass genre, and AHEE is known for his innovative alien bass. Within the single, a subterfuge of basses and world percussion are employed, woven with a bluesy sentiment and a dash of pop vocals to permeate emotions. At its core, “Walking In The Stars” employs enticing tribal rhythms to escort you on an introspective journey as the drumbeat transports your body abroad to a distant land.”
