Reductio – Downtown Chicago (Original Mix)
Though Reductio has only been DJing and producing since July 2019, the 19 year old artist has already had a handful of releases this year alone. Next up for the United Kingdom resident is a bouncy tech house tune called “Downtown Chicago”. The deep and groovy track was released on the newly formed Force Of Habit, a tech house sublabel of Black Hole Recordings. The song by Matt Walters was also added to three Spotify playlists by Dutch imprint Spinnin’ Records.
Reductio first started his musical journey at the age of six when he learned the piano, followed by the organ at the age of 13. That lead him to currently holding an organ scholarship at the University of Cambridge, where he also studies classics as his major. His first song in “Lying To Me” was played on both BBC Music Introducing and BBC Upload in the first week of its release.
