Faouzia – Tears Of Gold (GOLDHOUSE Remix)
When your name is GOLDHOUSE and you’re given the opportunity to remix a song called “Tears Of Gold”, it just seems like a perfect fit. The original song by Faouzia, a 20 year old Morocco born vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Canada, was released last November on Atlantic Records.
Chicago native/Los Angeles based Grant Harris puts his future bass spin on the track from the New York City based record label. I’m not sure how I haven’t heard of Faouzia Ouihya before this, but her vocals are some of the best I’ve heard in a long time. Combine that with the sweeping melodies and warm chords of GOLDHOUSE, it has me playing this song on repeat!
