DEEPFAKE – The Fakeside EP

Mysterious Detroit based duo DEEPFAKE have released their debut three track EP titled “The Fakeside”. The set features “Heal My Mind”, “Be Somebody”, and “Guestlist Drama” (though I don’t think there’s much of that these days!). Describing their style as basstech, each of the tunes bring a deep, dark, and groovy feel with bouncy basslines and underground vibes. The anonymous pair look to have first started out in September 2019 and disguise themselves with masks, but masking up certainly seems to be the norm these days.

DEEPFAKE performed during the Virtual EDC’s Discovery Project livestream back in May and also have their own livestreams on Twitch, where past performance locations include an abandoned factory in Detroit and the middle of a forest. In addition to producing and DJing, the duo create immersive visual content for each of their shows.
