Nine months ago, ATFC and Gene Farris collaborated together for the first time on “Spirit Of House” from Toolroom Records. Now, Spanish artist Aydin Hasirci and Chicago house icon Gene Farris come together once again on the irresistible and infectious “R U”. The track from Mark Knight’s London based imprint “features a catchy piano hook, tough drums and that deep, powerful vocal from Gene Farris himself. It’s a stripped back, gritty house cut and we’re proud to be giving it a home on Toolroom.”
The track earned the Killer Cut distinction on Knight’s Toolroom Radio 556, with Tiesto, Kryder, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Wh0, and TCTS among those who have supported the song.
A couple of my favorite upbeat tracks from ATFC over the years are “Bad Habit” featuring Lisa Millet and “Dynamite” with David Penn.
Gene Farris has been behind groovy tunes like “Bass Go” with John Summit and “Back In The Day” in the past year.
