Tim van Werd returns to Protocol Recordings for the fifth time with a cinematic progressive house single called “Same Three Words”. The Dutch DJ and producer, who graduated from Herman Brood Academie in Utrecht, has a background with drums, trumpet, and piano through training in classical, pop, and jazz music, all experiences which have had an effect on his style.
Label head Nicky Romero played the tune on Protocol Radio 436 where it was chosen as the Protocol Spotlight, with further support from Kryder, Third Party, Yves V, Madison Mars, ASCO, Marcus Santoro, and Roan Shenoyy.
