Grimes & i_o – Violence (REZZ Remix)
In September 2019, Grimes and i_o worked together on “Violence“, the second single from her fifth album “Miss Anthropocene” that was released in February 2020. Five days ago, Isabelle Rezazadeh announced that she had remixed the song from Claire Boucher and Garret Lockhart and posted a preview of the song the next day.
The Canadian artist says “Grimes is one of my fav artists. When Garret (i_o) was making “violence” with her, we were texting a lot during that time. he would send me updates of their song & I told him it was a repeat song for me.. Very grateful to have remixed it & it be coming out officially.”
The remix is part of the “Miss Anthropocene (Rave Edition)” remix package, which also includes versions from ANNA, Richie Hawtin, Channel Tres, Tale of Us and Âme, Julien Bracht, Things You Say, Modeselektor, and BloodPop®.
