Above & Beyond ft. Richard Bedford – Thing Called Love (Oliver Heldens Remix)
Oliver Heldens has joined the Anjunabeats family with a remix of Above & Beyond’s classic “Thing Called Love” featuring Richard Bedford. The original mix was from Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki’s noted 2011 album “Group Therapy“, which also included revered tracks like “Alchemy” featuring Zoë Johnston, “Sun & Moon” featuring Richard Bedford, and “Love Is Not Enough” featuring Johnston. The tune was debuted by Above & Beyond during their Group Therapy 400 four hour extended set recorded on the River Thames last September.
The Dutch artist says “I’ve always admired Above & Beyond and what they’ve accomplished with Anjuna and Group Therapy, so it was a great honour and pleasure to remix ‘Thing Called Love’, featuring Richard Bedford’s beautiful vocals, for the song’s tenth anniversary. It might sound a bit different than what people would expect from me, but I wanted to keep the trancey vibe of the original alive in this remix. I can’t wait to play this out, hope you like it!”
