Au5 – The Way To Infinity (Original Mix)

On January 18, 2021 by ocedm

Back in October, SLANDER announced the launch of their second record label called Heaven Sent with the release of their track “Hurts Sometimes” with Fairlane featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn. Joining the Los Angeles based imprint for its second release is Au5 with the dreamy, cinematic, and bass filled “The Way To Inifnity”, which was streamed more than 50,000 times on Spotify alone in its first day. The New Jersey native has an extensive background in piano as well as bass guitar and music production, as he was trained in the former at the age of 4 and the latter at the age of 13.

“‘The Way to Infinity” is rock-inspired melodic dubstep,” says Au5. “It calls to the seekers of something beyond our physical world and bounds. It speaks of the infinite potential found within us all as individuals and is a call to action to ‘wake up’ and evolve together.”

Over the past few years, Denver based Austin Collins has impressed me with songs like his collaboration with BT and Mangal Suvarnan called “The Light Is Always On” from BT’s 13th album in “The Lost Art of Longing“, “Always In A Nightmare” with Nytrix, and his remix of “Island” by Seven Lions, Wooli, and Trivecta featuring Nevve.

Previous tunes from Au5 have been supported by the likes of llenium, Trivecta, Jason Ross, Zomboy, 12th Planet, Blanke, Wooli, Pixel Terror, Chime, Tritonal, Farius, Kapera, and Don Diablo.
