Apashe – Renaissance (Remix Album)

I had heard a few weeks ago that a remix album for Apashe’s album “Renaissance” was coming, but did not expect 28 versions to be delivered! The album from John De Buck, which is hovering around the 40 million stream mark, was released last April on Kannibalen Records, the label from Black Tiger Sex Machine which the trio started in 2011 in Montreal .

Standouts for me on the remix album include versions from Volac, Koan Sound, TYNAN, MARTEN HØRGER, INHUMAN, SWARM, KLOUD, and Qrion. Whether it’s heavy basslines or easy going house vibes, there’s pretty much a remix for everyone in the set as the talented producers add their own signature style to each tune.

The Belgian native also has versions from Dylan Phillips, Buunshin, Pushing Daizies, Macky Gee, Vanic, Clockvice, Gentlemens Club, Two Fingers, YMIR, Russian Jump Up Mafia, Matroda, Timour Leng, Kai Wachi, BIJOU, Varien, BILLYTHEKID, IMANU, OVERWERK, and RIOT TEN.
