The soulful vocals of Lilly Ahlberg were first heard by many on Sonny Fodera’s “The Moment“, which was from his 2019 album titled “Rise“. Since its release on his Solotoko record label, the track has been supported by the likes of Oliver Heldens, Wax Motif, EDX, Zeds Dead, Mr. Belt & Wezol, Jauz, Michael Calfan, CID, Vato Gonzalez, Danny Howard, Klingande, Swedish Egil, New World Sound, Gil Glaze, and more.
The talented singer and songwriter is back on the London based imprint as a solo artist with “Young Forever”. Featuring her rich and alluring vocals with assist from Fodera’s production skills, the tune with bouncy basslines and bright synths will brighten your day.
Ahlberg was born in Italy and then spent two years in England. Her family then moved to Älmhult in Sweden, which is best known as where IKEA was founded and was also where both of her parents worked, before later moving to Helsingborg. She then moved to Norway at the age of 11, then back to Sweden, then to Sydney in Australia, then back again to Sweden and is now based in London. Quite the journey, isn’t it?
She also has her own YouTube channel where she first started gaining traction for her covers. Last November, Ahlberg released her debut six track EP called “Call Me“.
