Au5 & HALIENE – Was It You (Original Mix)

Returning once again to Enhanced Music is Au5 with HALIENE for a new track called “Was It You”. The trance and melodic bass fusion marks the first time that New Jersey native Austin Collins and Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Kelly Sweet have collaborated together. With warm, cosmic synths and growling basslines combined with the angelic and ethereal vocals, the tune fits in perfect with the London based record label from Tritonal.

Armin van Buuren opened up A State Of Trance 1007, with further support coming from the likes of Kapera, Bobina, and Farius.

Earlier this year, Au5 impressed me with another melodic bass tune called “The Way To Infinity“, with other tracks like “Always In A Nightmare” with Nytrix and his remix of “Island” by Seven Lions, Wooli, and Trivecta featuring Nevve also in his ever growing discography.

One of HALIENE’s most notable collaborations is “Saving Light” with Gareth Emery and Standerwick, which was chosen as the 2017 Tune of the Year on Armin van Buuren’s noted radio show A State of Trance. Her first feature was on “The End” by Seven Lions back in 2015.
