1788-L – Parallel: S EP
1788-L seemed to have had a quiet 2020 overall, with a remix of “All My Friends” by Madeon released as a free download in March 2020. His last original mix was a collaboration with The Glitch Mob titled “Momentary Lapse” from November 2019.
For his first release of 2021, the mysterious producer gives us a two track EP called “Parallels: S”. The set consists of the cinematic bass centric “Human Machine” and the Daft Punk-like “Automaton”. The EP was released on Deadbeats, the record label formed by Zeds Dead in early 2016.
“Even though my speaking conditions have become more humanly accessible, it is quite hard to convey any words that describe my feelings for tonight’s release”, states 1788-L. “I sincerely hope that you enjoy the journey, and I thank you all so much for listening.”
