T78 & Space 92 – Ground Zero (Original Mix)

On April 22, 2021 by ocedm

I have to thank i_o for playing a few T78 tracks in his sets over the past few years that first made me aware of the Italian artist, such as “Acid Lick” with ROBPM and his remix of “The Outsiders” by Christian Cambas. Manuel Tessarollo’s new thrilling yet ominous techno track with Space 92 (Frenchman Mathieu Mourareau) called “Ground Zero” has been released on his own imprint in Autektone Records, which he launched in 2016.

“‘Ground Zero’ comes at you in full force delivers a low end rumble that goes straight into the pumping and melodic drive. A punchy and powerful kick sits alongside the cleverly synth bass pattern.

An eerie synth hook builds into the searing, kissed by the typical tech-trance sound of the early millennium.

This is a weapon doesn’t turn down the pace and takes you into a dark zone firmly rooted for the rave.”

Oliver Heldens supported the tune on Heldeep Radio 355 as part of his HI-LO’s Highlights segment.

Other songs from T78 have been played by Carl Cox, Pan Pot, Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, Deborah De Luca, John Askew, UMEK, Alan Fitzpatrick, Mark Sherry, Indecent Noise, Simon Patterson, and more.

Space 92 first came on my radar a few months ago with his track “Phobos“. He has been supported by the likes of Giuseppe Ottaviani, Markus Schulz, Ummet Ozcan, Sean Tyas, Moguai, Rebūke, MORTEN, Joel Corry, Dennis Ruyer, Speaker Honey, FaderX, PBH & Jack, and others.
