Ben Nicky x Olly James – We Are The Ravers ft. MC Stretch (Original Mix)

Ben Nicky and Olly James have teamed up on “We Are The Ravers” featuring MC Stretch, out now on Rave Culture. The United Kingdom based duo of Ben Wederell (from Bristol) and Oliver Purvis (from Newcastle) throw down thumping basslines and pounding drums with Martin Ryan’s (who moved from England to the Netherlands in 2002) legendary vocals on top.

Label heads W&W supported the tune during their DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Virtual Festival set and Rave Culture Live 001, with Blasterjaxx playing it on Maxximize On Air 358 and Timmy Trumpet dropping it on SINPHONY Radio 011.

One of the first times I heard of Ben Nicky was in 2016 due to his collaboration with Chris Schweizer called “The Switch“. He has previously played at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Paradiso, Spring Awakening, and more.

Olly James has had tracks released from Maxximize, Skink, Revealed Recordings, Musical Freedom, Bourne Recordings, and Smash The House.

If Martin Ryan’s voice sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because he has been the longtime host for the mainstage at Tomorrowland in Belgium. He has also worked with the likes of Sub Zero Project, Rene Amesz, Frontliner, Showtek, and others
