Alex Preston and Tom & Collins – Shake Me (Original Mix)
Australian artist Alex Preston has teamed up with Mexico City based duo Tom & Collins for an upbeat and bouncy house tune called “Shake Me” that will certainly put a smile on your face. The Sydney native and pair of Juan Pablo Escudero and Jorge Corral use catchy vocals, driving basslines, and an irresistible groove in the track that was released on Preston’s record label Basement Sound (with a VIP mix included as well).
Preston has previously impressed me with his “Get Started” EP, his rework of “Heard It Through The Grapevine” by Marvin Gaye, “Dem Feels“, and “Never Meant To Last” with Dave Winnel featuring Javeon.
Back in 2015, I had the chance to interview Tom & Collins ahead of their performance at L Festival at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. Last summer, they launched their own record label called Terms & Conditions in partnership with Create Music Group, which has released songs from the likes of Stuuks, Andruss, PAUZA, Roxe, Andrew Mathers, and more.
