Hyper – Control EP
Having been home to the likes of Skrillex, Feed Me, Zedd, Noisia, Dillon Francis, Chris Lake, Madeon, REZZ, Getter, ATTLAS, No Mana, and Matt Lange over the years since its inception in 2007, London native Hyper now joins the impressive mau5trap roster with his four track EP titled “Control”. The dark and enigmatic set consists of “Impact Weapon”, “Control”, “Marauder”, and “Silo”. Seattle based DJ and producer Guy Hatfield uses foreboding basslines and industrial synths throughout the captivating EP.
deadmau5 played “Impact Weapon” during his set for SiriusXM Dance Again Virtual Festival near the end of May, and also on mau5trap radio 140 and 141 in the past couple of weeks.
Hyper’s music can be heard in TV shows like Orange Is The New Black and The Leftovers and in advertisements for Blade Runner 2049. He also produced the music in the trailer for the Cyberpunk 2077 video game called “Spoiler“.
