Sharlitz Web – Spider Cider EP
Last month, I said that sharlitz web is one name you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on for the rest of the year after I had the chance to interview her about her new track “Dark Places” from Liquid Stranger’s record label SSKWAN, how she would describe her sound in three animals, the story behind the lyrics in the song, and more. Just one month later, the Los Angeles based artist has a two track EP out called “Spider Cider”.
Though it might be a bit early for Halloween, the Chicago native gets the dark and spooky vibes flowing four months early. The title track in “Spider Cider” features plenty of wubs and wobbles to go around, while the second song in “Ill Will” uses brooding basslines and ominous synths. The EP was released on Wakaan, Liquid Stranger’s main record label he launched in 2015.
