Josh Teed – The Journey East EP
In October 2020, Josh Teed released his four track EP called “Deviation“. Almost nine months later, the New Hampshire based artist joins Gravitas Recordings with a seven song EP titled “The Journey East”. Rhythmic basslines and experimental soundscapes are used with string and percussive elements throughout the set from the Austin based record label.
The EP includes “Silk Road” with Lil Fish (of Toulouse, France) featuring Gnawbox (New York based Evan Lange), “Crescent Bounce” with Morillo (Los Angeles based Zach Morillo) featuring Brad Hester (of New York), “Vibration” with Daggz (Ryan Daggs of New York) featuring Delgira (Delgira Samtonova of New Jersey), “Introspection” with Skysia (Tanner Allen based in a converted mini-school bus complete with mobile studio…no, really), “Steady Steppin” with Bastion (of New York), “Circle Of Life” with Lowcation (CJ Martere of Connecticut), and “Alive” with just john (John Mitchell of British Columbia, Canada).
Teed, who is a producer, DJ, and multi instrumentalist, had an hour long guest mix on Gravitas Artist Mix 013 (with visuals by Clear Void) earlier this month, where he played songs from the EP as well as a number of his own unreleased tracks.
