I didn’t know I needed a techno bootleg of an ABBA track, but I’m pretty excited I came across PLOW’s version of “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)“! There’s not much I could find out about the artist except that he’s from Frankfurt in Germany, but I still feel the need to share his booming techno take of a classic song!
The original song was released by the Swedish group consisting of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad in 1979. ABBA had shot to fame a few years earlier when they won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Waterloo“.
