Hannah Wants & Jess Bays – I Don’t Know ft. Jennifer Jamieson (Original Mix)

One of the first times that Hannah Wants played her collaboration played her new collaboration with Jess Bays and Jennifer Jamieson in “I Don’t Know” was during her livestream set in the British Airways i360, a 450 foot tower with a fully enclosed glass viewing pod that has stunning 360 degree panoramic views of the Brighton South Coast. The captivating house tune with a “contagiously catchy bassline, tight drums, classic house pads, and a simple yet hooky vocal” was released on Stress Records, a London based imprint founded in 1990.

“I’m so excited for this release with Hannah and Jennifer to drop!” says Bays. “This past year has really given a lot of us the chance to collaborate with other artists that we may not usually have been able to. We’ve had time to recalibrate, breathe and just focus on being creative! This is my first go at a proper club record and it’s an honour to do it with someone as influential as Hannah. Jennifer absolutely killed it with the top line too – such a super catchy hook!”

Hannah Wants played the collaboration during her set for BBC Radio 1 Dance Weekend a few days ago. The song has been played on the radio shows of Danny Howard, DJ S.K.T, TCTS, and Ben Morris.

Birmingham based Hannah Wants might be familiar to some as Hannah Smith, a former professional soccer player for Aston Villa W.F.C. and member of the English national team. She previously caught my attention with “Lift Off” with Nathan Nicholson and “Dot Com”.

London based Bays host a weekly radio show on Capital Dance and has produced remixes for the likes of Rudimental and Becky Hill alongside a string of releases on Stress Records, FFRR, Polydor, EMI, Armada and Good Company.

Glasgow native Jamieson previously worked with Bays on “Stronger” with Sebb Junior and Tommy Tickle on “My Desire” and “Be The Light”.
