Wh0 & Kideko – Soul Searcher (Extended Mix)
If you were to ask me who doesn’t miss these days, one of the first names I would mention would be Wh0. The black masked duo have been consistently putting out house heaters over the past few years and continue their hot streak in “Soul Searcher” with Kideko. Their first collaboration was released on Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records, which he founded with his brother Stuart in 2003.
The infectious and captivating tune makes “incredible use of the 1976 classic D.C. Larue ‘Cathedrals‘ sample layered with tough drums and plenty of weight to keep those dance floors moving. There are some awesome brass hits that swirl around the filtered-out rising piano chords and a killer vocal ‘Don’t stop the music now it’s deep inside my soul’.”
Some of those heaters from United Kingdom based Wh0 include “Better Day” with Nile Rodgers and Josh Barry, “Out Of Time” featuring Clementine Douglas, and “Everyday” featuring Revelle.
Brighton native Ryan Hurley has caught my attention with tracks like “Been A Long Time” with Sonny Fodera and Alex Mills, his remix of “Tell Me You Love Me” by Galantis and Throttle, and his remix of “Make Your Move” by Pink Panda.
