RÜFÜS DU SOL – Surrender (Album)
This past July, RÜFÜS DU SOL released their first original song in three years titled “Alive”, which served as the lead single from their fourth album titled “Surrender”. The entire set was released from their own imprint called Rose Avenue Records, which they launched in October 2018. Included in the album are “Next to Me”, “Make It Happen”, “See You Again”, “I Don’t Wanna Leave”, “Alive”, “Alive (Reprise)”, “On My Knees”, “Wildfire”, “Surrender” featuring Curtis Harding, “Devotion”, and “Always”.
Sydney natives Tyrone Lindqvist (vocals/guitar), Jon George (keyboard), and James Hunt (drums) use captivating vocals, dreamy melodies, and brooding basslines throughout the impressive 11 track set. In March 2020, the trio recorded a live album and film called Live from Joshua Tree, then stayed on location and went to work on “Surrender”.
