Welcoming BEC to the fold with “Marimba” is Alan Fitzpatrick’s British record label We Are The Brave. A United Kingdom native and now residing in Berlin, Rebecca Godfrey uses relentless drums and vibrant beats with techno horns for her debut on the Southampton based imprint. Fitzpatrick says “I admire BEC’s style, this is a killer debut single on WATB. I played ‘Marimba’ all summer!”
Past tunes of BEC have been seen on noted record labels such as Carl Cox’s Intec, Pan-Pot’s Second State, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Monika Kruse’s Terminal M (including her three track “Psilocybin Therapy” EP from the beginning of the year), and Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid.
