Patrick Scuro & Marie Vaunt – Creatures on Acid (Extended Mix)
In mid 2021, Patrick Scuro and Mair Vaunt collaborated on “The Ritual” from NUMEN. Six months later, the German producer and Los Angeles based artist team up again on “Creatures on Acid”. The techno tune with heavy kicks and acid stabs was put out on Scuro’s imprint in Animarum Recordings, which he launched this year.
The tune was supported by A*S*Y*S on his monthly podcast Filter’d 175.
Berlin based Scuro hosts a podcast series called podcast series called PSCR which has seen guests DJs such as A*S*Y*S, ROBPM, and MOTVS make appearances. The song was played on PSCR 094 with Khatune a few weeks ago.
Japan raised Vaunt caught my attention in February with her mix of “Better Off Alone” by Alice Deejay, and has also put out other quality remixes like “Silence” by Delirium, “Let’s Dance” by David Bowie, “Girls On Film” by Duran Duran, and “Shout” by Tears For Fears. Her set for Sunshine Live Pioneer DJ Mix Mission was recently uploaded and features her latest track with Scuro.
