Linking up with Los Angeles based imprint In / Rotation once again is Dark Cities with a dark bass house tune called “Ever Nothing”. Seven months ago, the Florida based artist released “Don’t Mind” on the record label under the Insomniac Music Group umbrella of Pasquale Rotella. He’s held on to the track for two years, but it’s well worth the wait!
“When making ‘Ever Nothing’ I was focusing on obtaining a ‘dark’ and ‘cold’ feeling to my music”, says Samuel Orrell. “This vibe has now become a staple for most of my tracks. The combination of a dystopian vibe and the ice cold vocals remind me of my favorite movie: The Matrix. This track really feels like there is a story being told and I think that is why I always find myself going back to it.”
