Habstrakt – High (Original Mix)
For his debut on HARD Recs, French DJ and producer Habstrakt has released a banging bass house tune titled “High”. The deep and groovy track was released through the label that is under the Insomniac Music Group of Pasquale Rotella. On a random note, when I first heard the drop at 33 seconds in, it reminded me of the Jaws reveal music from the Cairo pyramids scene (1:02 in the video if the time stamp doesn’t work) in the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me from 1977.
Supporters of the track include Tony Romera, Dyro, Afrojack, Wax Motif, and Zeds Dead.
Los Angeles based Adam Jouneau has previously impressed me with songs like “The One“, “Lasagne” with Bellecour, and “Antigone” with Dombresky, with one of his most well known tunes in “Chicken Soup” with Skrillex from 2017 still racking up the plays in many DJ sets around the world.
