Monocule & Tim Van Werd – On My Mind (Extended Mix)
Donning his Monocule alias once more is Nicky Romero, who now teams up with Tim van Werd for a dark, ethereal progressive house tune called “On My Mind”. Dreamy vocals, an entrancing melody, and steady basslines are used in the release from Romero’s Amsterdam based Protocol Recordings.
Last week on Protocol Radio 500, van Werd played their collaboration during his 30 minute guest mix on Romero’s show. Futuristic Polar Bears also played the song on Back To Earth 282.
Monocule and van Werd first joined forces on “Time To Save” featuring Mossiman, which was from the former’s debut EP titled “Volume 1“.
The last time we heard from Monocule was a few months ago in December on “Your Eyes” with LAMAS, who Romero found on his livestream series on Twitch called demo:drop, where unsigned artists can submit their tracks and receive feedback.
Over the past couple of years, van Werd has caught my attention with captivating songs like “Same Three Words” and “Dance All Night“.
