Kx5 – Escape ft. Hayla (John Summit Extended Remix)
John Summit premiered his remix of “Escape” by Kx5 featuring Hayla a few months ago during his set at Coachella at the Sahara Tent, and now we have its official release. Kx5, the collaborative project between dance music veterans Kaskade and deadmau5, debuted their first original in March from their respective labels in Arkade and mau5trap. Summit’s remix features groovy beats and tight percussion combined with tech house elements.
Supporters of the Chicago native’s version include Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Diplo, Nicky Romero, Danny Howard, MorganJ, Promise Land, Afrojack, Gabriel & Dresden, BIJOU, Shane 54, Stadiumx, Wax Motif, Muzzaik, Valentino Khan, Hard Rock Sofa, Charlie Lane, and DJ S.K.T.
Earlier this year, Summit remixed “Don’t Forget My Love” by Diplo and Miguel.
