LöKii – Elvis (Original Mix)
Last week, I wrote about KILL SCRIPT’s “Line In The Sand” featuring the vocals of Linney and was scrolling through the singer’s Twitter when I saw her comment on a new release called “Elvis” by LöKii. It’s a good thing I took a listen to the track because this is a deep, driving techno tune you do not want to miss out on from pink pineapple. The vocals remind me of Faithless co-founder and lead vocalist Maxi Jazz, which is a big plus!
Previous songs from LöKii have been seen on labels like Arkade, STMPD RCRDS, Uprise Music, Thrive Music, Do Not Duplicate Recordings, Monstercat, Dim Mak, and This Never Happened.
After doing a little bit of research, it turns out that Thomas Shaw is part of the Canadian progressive house duo Project 46, who released “Remember You” with Linney back in April 2020. Makes sense why Linney supported the new tune from LöKii!
