Mark Knight & Armand Van Helden – The Music Began To Play (Extended Mix)

On August 21, 2022 by ocedm

House music icons Mark Knight and Armand Van Helden have joined forces on a groovy collaboration titled “The Music Began To Play”. The English artist, who has been in the music scene for over 20 years, and Boston native, who has spent over 30 years in the music scene, combine their decades worth of production skills in a funky tune that will surely get your feet moving. The vibrant release from Knight’s Toolroom Records samples T.J.M.’s 1979 disco track “I Don’t Need No Music”.

Knight played the track on Toolroom Radio 646 and 647. The song has been supported by Oliver Heldens, Martin Garrix, Sam Feldt, Danny Howard, Ferreck Dawn, Solardo, Robbie Rivera, Charlie Lane, DJ S.K.T, Judge Jules, TCTS, Muzzaik, Hugo Cantarra, Hard Rock Sofa, and Stadiumx.

Other tunes from Mark Knight to take a listen to include “If It’s Love” featuring Laure Davie and The Melody Men, “Second Story”, and “The Return Of Wolfy”.

Past favorites of mine from Armand Van Helden, who is also part of Duck Sauce with A-Trak, include “Bonkers” with Dizzee Rascal, “I Want Your Soul”, and “Wings”.
