Ohmfield – Darkness Deepens (Original Mix)
Ohmfield has released his latest experimental electronic track in a mesmerizing tune called “Darkness Deepens”. Soft piano notes and captivating melodies are used with entrancing vocals in the hypnotic track. There’s also a bit of lo-fi elements and crisp drum work that initially caught my attention.
Ben Worlidge explains that “This chilled laid-back track revolves around a cut up key sample with a delicate sprinkle of synths, piano and calming vocals. It came about after losing my grand-father during the pandemic, he would always play the ukulele when I was young so I recorded his uke in for the intro and built it from there. Wood pigeons always remind me of staying at my grandparents too so I wanted these to appear throughout the track.”
The London based artist has released “Back To Life” and “Burnout” over the past few months.
