Ravenscoon x Smoakland – Never Heard Of Ya (Original Mix)
A major hit in their sets over the past few months, Ravenscoon and Smoakland have unleashed their first collaboration together called “Never Heard Of Ya”. The drumstep track uses “full-bodied heavyweight basslines, fine tuned percussion, and a dancefloor drum and bass segment at the halfway mark”. The song was released from Wakaan, the record label started by Liquid Stranger in 2015.
San Francisco based Paul Conversano has caught my attention previously with “Speakaz” with Noise Pollution, his “Revolve” EP, and his “Rapid Eye Movements” EP.
Recent tunes from Bay Area natives Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays to check out, who met while attending Boise State University, include their “Smoak Sesh” EP, their remix of “BadBoi Sound” by SoDown, and “Reload” with Wolf-e-Wolf.
