Lilly Palmer – Resonate EP

Lilly Palmer made her EP debut on Drumcode back in April with the release of the four track set “We Control“. The German artist returns to the noted record label for another powerful techno EP called “Resonate”. Consisting of the title track, “First Time in Space”, and “Ultimate Feeling”, the tunes use propulsive basslines, melodic synths, and tight percussion work throughout. The set was put out on the record label started by Adam Beyer in 1996 in Sweden.

Songs from the EP have been played by Oliver Heldens, HI-LO, A*S*Y*S, Eddie Halliwell, Bart Skils, and Rebūke.

In early October, Lilly Palmer (who moved to Zurich in Switzerland and is now based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands) played a set at the European State Agency’s (ESA) European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. In association with Space Rocks, she played inside the Hybrid European RF and Antenna Test Zone (Hertz) chamber, which is where radio-frequency testing of satellites takes place due to its simulation of the boundless conditions of space.
