Carl Cox – Our Time Will Come (Chase & Status Remix)
Legendary DJ and producer Carl Cox’s fifth album (and first in over 10 years) “Electronic Generations” is set to be released on December 2. Although that’s about a month away, that hasn’t stopped noted drum and bass duo Chase & Status from putting their twist on one of the tracks from the album called “Our Time Will Come”.
Carl Cox and Chase & Status played a back to back jungle set at Glastonbury on the Arcadia stage this year, setting the scene for the remix to materialize. The fast paced tune was put out on BMG Rights Management, which Carl Cox signed to in May 2021.
Early supporters of the tune include Fred V who played it on his KISS Nights radio show and Charlie T who played it on his BBC Radio 1 Drum & Bass show.
Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status) first started out as a group in 2003. Some of my favorite tracks of theirs include “Blind Faith” featuring Liam Bailey, and “Time” featuring Delilah. The duo released their six studio album titled “What Came Before” in June from EMI.
