Matroda – Gimme Some Keys (Remixes)
In February 2021, Matroda released a piano inspired tech house tune titled “Gimme Some Keys” from Insomniac Records. Twenty one months later, seven artists breathe new life into the track with their unique versions. Heavy percussion elements, driving basslines, catchy grooves, distorted piano leads, thumping beats, and slick guitar chords are used throughout the remixes.
Included in the package are remixes from Tom & Collins (Juan Pablo Escudero and Jorge Corral of Mexico City), Cloverdale (Alex Walsh, who is from Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada), Cave Studio (Italian duo Daniele Cataldi and Nicolas Daprà), THYKIER (Denmark native Malte Thykier), David Herrlich (from Germany), and TONG (Tongyao Li, who is from China and now based in Los Angeles).
Various remixes from the set have been supported by the likes of Vintage Culture, Fedde Le Grand, Don Diablo, Plastik Funk, Hard Rock Sofa, Promise Land, Wax Motif, and Albert Neve.
