Eliminate & PEEKABOO – Quickness (Original Mix)

Eliminate and PEEKABOO have combined their bass stylings together to create a wobbly tune called “Quickness”. Deep basslines, pitched down vocals, and metallic synths are used by the two artists in their release from Bassrush Records, which is under Pasquale Rotella’s Insomniac Music Group.

“Quickness came about in a very organic way,” explains Eliminate. “PEEKABOO and I were hanging out in 2021 and he was showing me some new plugins, where we stumbled upon the main lead sound. It immediately peaked both of our creative juices so we hopped in the studio and finished the song together in a couple of days.”

Since 2021, the track has been heard in numerous sets of Eliminate and PEEKABOO, such as at Excision’s festival Lost Lands and at EDC Las Vegas. Supporters of the tune include NGHTMRE, Zeds Dead, and Hyrdaulix.

A native of Seattle now based in Los Angeles, Nathan Merril has put out songs like a remix of “Pony” by Valentino Khan, “Drive” with Nitti Gritti, and “Mula“.

Favorites of mine from Detroit native Matthew Lucas include “Bumpy Road“, his remix of “Strobe” by deadmau5, and “Babatunde” with G-REX.
