SOHMI – Recital EP
Having already put out three tracks from her “Recital” EP over the past five months, SOHMI now completes the set with the title track. The EP from her own imprint Permission and Thrive Music “Somebody”, “Only One”, “Missin U”, and “Recital”. Infectious drum beats, glimmering synths, captivating vocals, and heart pumping basslines are heard throughout the set from SOHMI, who grew up mostly in Hong Kong and Korea before graduating from Duke University.
Songs from the EP have been supported by Ferreck Dawn, Danny Howard, R3hab, Stadiumx, DJ S.K.T, Leftwing : Kody, Sultan + Shepard, and RayRay.
The Korean-American DJ, producer, and vocalist is a classically trained pianist and graduate of theater studies from Duke University. Previous tracks from her have been seen on record labels such as Anjunadeep, Toolroom Records, Get Physical, and Odd One Out.
