Purple Disco Machine & Kungs – Substitution (Extended Mix)

On April 13, 2023 by ocedm

Purple Disco Machine and Kungs have joined forces for a funky house tune with disco vibes called “Substitution”. The German artist and native of France use some seriously groovy basslines and catchy vocals in the track, which also samples “Big in Japan” by Alphaville, which was originally released in 1984. Their first collaboration together was released from Sony Music Germany.

Supporters of the song include Oliver Heldens, Armin van Buuren, R3hab, Sam Feldt, Erick T., Hard Rock Sofa, Lost Frequencies, Morgan Page, and TCTS.

Past favorites of mine from Grammy Award winner Tino Piontek (whose artist name is a homage to his funk hero Prince and the dance flair of Gloria Estefan’s Miami Sound Machine) include his remix of “On My Mind” by Diplo and SIDEPIECE, his remix of “Drop The Pressure” by Claptone and Mylo, and “My House”.

Valentin Brunel is known for tracks like his remix of “This Girl” by Cookin’ On 3 Burners, “Don’t You Know” featuring Jamie N Commons, and his edit of “Hung Up” by Madonna.
