Avoure & Jem Cooke – Illuminate (Extended Mix)
Breaking a two year silence on originals is Avoure with the release of “Illuminate” with Jem Cooke. Ukrainian producer Kirill Pristavnoy uses a steady beat and atmospheric melodies combined with the ethereal vocals of the London based artist in the collaboration. The tune was put out on Lane 8’s This Never Happened, which he started in 2016.
I first heard of Avoure in 2020 when he remixed “Beyond The Comfort Zone” by Elysian from their “Water EP (The Remixes)”, with “Aura” and “Ray” a couple of tracks to check out as well.
Singer/songwriter Jem Cooke has worked with the likes of Wilkinson and Pola & Bryson on “Fade Away” from the former’s “Cognition” album in 2022 and CamelPhat on “Rabbit Hole” and “Breathe” with Cristoph from CamelPhat’s “Dark Matter” album in 2020.
