Typhon – Solitude (Original Mix)

I was taking another look through my SoundCloud feed recently and hit play on “Solitude” by TYPHON, and I’m sure glad I did. The American-Lebanese DJ and producer’s latest track features booming basslines and haunting vocals with influences from his Middle Eastern roots. The song from the Houston based artist marks his debut on MONTA, the record label launched by Boombox Cartel in 2021. Check out this video of Boombox Cartel playing the track live!

Tony Noun says that “Solitude is one of my favorite tracks I’ve ever made. I was isolated and away from home at the time, so I wanted to experiment and make something that was different from my usual style; dark and eerie.”
