XIE – C’est La Vie (Original Mix)
Making her return to Thrive Music once again is XIE with a bouncy house track in “C’est La Vie”. Strong piano chords and crisp percussion are used in the song, in addition to her own intriguing vocals. The tune was released through the record label that was launched in 1997 in Los Angeles.
“Life can feel heavy and complicated,” shares XIE. “It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all of it but sometimes it’s actually easier to just let things go. I wrote ‘C’est La Vie’ when I was dealing with some extreme anxieties as a reminder to take the good with the bad and each day in stride. You always have to move forward and remember life just is what it is and it will get better.”
The Los Angeles based DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter last appeared on Thrive Music in March with “Birds In Paradise”. XIE will be supporting Jauz during his stop at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana on Saturday June 10.
