CHROMEBODIES – Regenesis (Original Mix)
A handful of flips by CHROMEBODIES have been released since their official inception in May. For their first original mix, the guys have crafted energetic techno single called “Regenesis”. The dynamic and fast paced song was released through Tucker (Jericho) Boner and Daniel Goudie’s record label NIGHTMODE, which they started in 2019 and is under Insomniac Music Group.
The guys recently recorded an hour long mix called CLUB CHROME 001 from 1720 in Los Angeles, where they opened up the set with “Regenesis”.
““REGENESIS” is a high-octane affair that’s built for dancefloors. The hard techno anthem is a rave-ready weapon. Punchy kick drums anchor the track as heady vocal loops created a hypnotic trance. Galloping basslines, gurgling acid stabs, and driving percussion bring the intensity in droves. A spiraling melodic breakdown unites with moody arpeggiations and heavenly choir vocalizations for a transcendent reprieve.”
The tune was played on the radio shows of Alison Wonderland on Radio Wonderland 320 and Mariana Bo on Dance Rituals 256.
CHROMEBODIES is made up of Manila Killa (also known as Chris Gavino) and Hotel Garuda (whose real name is Aseem Mangaokar). Hotel Garuda was previously a duo with Manila Killa when the project started in 2014 before Manila Killa left in 2018 to focus on his solo career.
The guys have previously put their spin on “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child, “Sweater Weather” by The Neighbourhood, “Mixed Signals” by Skrillex and Swae Lee, and “Say It Right” by Nelly Furtado (check out these videos of Subtronics and John Summit dropping the track during their SUBJOHNICS back to back set at EDC Las Vegas!).
