Nora En Pure – Sherwood Forest (Original Mix)
Conjuring a mystical deep house tune is one of my favorite artists in Nora En Pure with “Sherwood Forest”. The South African-born, Swiss-based artist uses driving beats, elegant piano chords, and atmospheric melodies in her latest track. The song was released through Chris Reece’s Zurich based Enormous Tunes, which he founded in 2008.
“The combination of piano and the forest is something I truly adore,” shares Nora En Pure. “It evokes a mystical feeling that transports us into another realm. With the two versions, I wanted to encapsulate that, and offer alternatives for two different settings.”
Nora En Pure played the song on her radio show Purified Radio 357, with support from Nicky Romero on Protocol Radio 568 and EDX on No Xcuses 645.
Daniela Di Lillo, who first started out in 2009, has put out tracks like “Reminiscing”, “Sign Of The Times”, and “Aquatic” over the past couple of years. So far this year, she has performed at The Brooklyn Mirage, Tao Beach in Las Vegas, Space Miami, Escapade Music Festival in Canada, and Day Trip LA, which included a back to back set with Tinlicker.
