Making her debut on Los Angeles based record label and event series Lost In Dreams is Pauline Herr with “Lightyears”. With influences of electropop and trance, Herr uses soft piano chords, rising arpeggios, and uplifting melodies in her next track. The song was released through the record label under Pasquale Rotella’s Insomniac Music Group which launched in 2021.
“‘Lightyears’ is an emotional anthem about finding your person, whether that’s a friend, a partner, a pet, or family”, explains Herr. “I wanted to create something that had a strong, emotional vocal and an uplifting trance-inspired drop. The song’s production showcases my love for uplifting piano melodies, arpeggiators, and vocal atmospheres.”
The Los Angeles based DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter played the song during her set at EDC Las Vegas on the Kinetic Field stage. Alison Wonderland has supported it on Radio Wonderland 322 and 323, with ARMNHMR also playing it on Infinite Skies Radio 013
